Lakeside Lodge is owned by Stacey Stepan, and she leads every private viewing personally. She knows the property because she runs it.

The lodge sits on the water in Bankston, about forty five minutes north of Tuscaloosa. Exposed beams, a chandelier, large windows, and bay doors that open the side of the building toward the lake. Outside there is a ceremony area overlooking the water, a dock, and a campfire area.

Access from 9 AM to 9 PM. Up to 200 guests. Two overnight suites available on the property.

What you get

The main building, two getting-ready rooms, two overnight suites, and the lakefront.

The Main Building
Room for up to 200 guests with indoor and outdoor seating. Exposed beams, a center chandelier, large windows, and bay doors that open toward the lake. A full kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, and wet bar sink sits off the main room.

The Bridal Suite
Three styling chairs with vanity and mirrors, a lounge area for everyone waiting, and a full bathroom inside the suite.

The Groom's Quarters
A room for the groom and his guys with a table for cards or poker, a couch, a television, and a mini fridge.

The Overnight Suites
An overnight bridal suite with bunk beds and a full bathroom for the night before, and a honeymoon suite with a queen bed and full bathroom for the night of. Both are $300 a night.

The Lakefront
An outdoor ceremony area overlooking the water, white benches for your guests, and a dock on the water that photographs well.

Simple pricing

Two packages. Weekdays $3,000. Weekends $5,500.

The Intimate Affair is one weekday, Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 9 PM. The Grand Celebration is two days, Friday and Saturday, 9 AM to 9 PM each day. Both include 25 round tables, 200 chairs, two 8-foot tables, white floor-length linens, and benches for the outdoor ceremony.

A $1,000 deposit reserves your date at booking. The balance is due 30 days before the event. Overnight suites are $300 a night.

How The Weekend Works

The weekend package is one booking that covers both days.

The Grand Celebration is a two-day rental, Friday and Saturday, 9 AM to 9 PM each day. You get the day before for setup, rehearsal, and getting the room how you want it, then the wedding day itself.

Weekday weddings run Monday through Thursday as The Intimate Affair, one day, same hours. To ask about a specific date, call or text Stacey at (205) 607-5042.
